Had similar case in a Ridgeback, that had mild otitis. Skull x-rays did not suggest OM. Ended up referring it. Had CT scan etc. Ear disease was treated with longer antibiotics and was started on PB (low dose) was given. Sounds like partial/limbic seizures to me.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;By way of a diagnostic test - Keppra for 5d should eliminate signs (then could start phenobarb longterm - IME often lower dose possible than for full seizures/epilepsy).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;But fly snapping was always seen as a kind of petit mal seizure; these days no doubt it has some other kind of classification, but I&amp;#39;m sure we used to see more of these.
