Chemist Direct also said they had Doxorubicin in stock (as NVS don't do it either) but when I actually tried to get some, they had none, and no way of getting any!)

We get our Doxo from TPS now, they are based in Scotland, presume they'd have Cyclophos too?

Thanks for that, not really sure what Baxters are playing at.

Anyway have just spoken to local hospital and am trotting off there tomorrow (time permitting) with a prescription.

Did have to go through the whole "its not licenced for animals" bit though and explain in detail why I wanted it under the cascade.

Pharmacist seemed genuinely interested that we use it in animals as well so may get quizzed again tomorrow.

No idea of this company but I Googled cyclophosphamide availability and found this:

No one can tell me that such a widely used human anti-cancer drug is not available at all. Human patients must be getting it!

Not according to NVS or any of my local pharmacists- they can't get hold of it for me either.

I'm still waiting to hear back from Baxters- their medical info dept stated that they are only manufacturing the inj at the moment but to speak to customer services. Customer services say there is no problem and that should be available from all human wholesalers for pharmacists! I did then point out the previous conversation with their other dept and was told it was untrue, they then checked their supply data and said they couldn't understand why there was none in the warehouse! I'm now waiting for a reply while someone finds out what's going on.

in the meantime anyone got any other ideas? starting to feel all quite surreal now and its only wednesday!

Pfizer have stopped making it but it is now being made by Baxter and therefore should be available through suppliers or pharmacies. It has, however, increased in price.
