Well, i´m not a speciallist, but certainly there is a strange "low-position" of the patella and, maybe some osteophites in the trochlea....

Have you notice somethinge strange in the tarsal joint? it seems to have osteophites too in the palmar side ¿¿¿??? maybe a better colimated and positioned x rays can help you.

Regards from Spain

Re: What's wrong with this knee?

it's a terrible X-ray - bad positioning and zero collimation. James you liar... Oh wait, you're honest about that with your name, aren't you!

Re: What's wrong with this knee?
That wouldn't be the most unusual feature of her penis, certainly.

Yeah, I can't really sustain this one. But we've told the young vet who took the rads that she doesn't have a fibula on this side. As the AP view was frog-legged, there's no way of disproving this (apart from the obvious overlying opacity through the cortex, of course). Just wanted to see if anybody else would go for it, but we're all too smart of course.

I suspect that when she comes back in for a tibial crest transposition, we'll get another view.

Re: What's wrong with this knee?
There's just something about the xray......
There - I've stuck my neck out and I don't even like orthopaedics!!!
