My local referral centre isn't currently offering this. They must not be in the know, which upsets me greatly as I've clearly been referring

Re: Prolotherapy

Treatment by the proletariat?

Re: Prolotherapy

Now I read that title as "spinal cord injuries....in cats and dogs treated with prolotherapy" ..... never heard of prolotherapy - sounds like nasty stuff!!

Re: Prolotherapy

"The Journal of Prolotherapy® is a peer-reviewed journal"

All this resting and trying to strengthen my shoulders swimming has been a waste of time. I feel so let down that no-one has told me about this before. Shame on the NHS and shame on the veterinary profession.

Swimmer's knee seems to be an odd one though. I would have thought that learning to swim breaststroke properly or swim a different stroke would have been more effective. All the rest of the treatments seem perfectly sensible. Not sure where to inject someone with a migraine though.........
