Hi any ideas on this case?
Its a 15 year old male cat (looks absolutely brilliant for its age, looks more like a 5 year old!). It started getting dys/anorexic a week ago.
I saw it first on Sunday. Clinical exam at that time nothing much of note

Re: dysautonomia????

I am not sure any more it's dysautonomia. Today he was showing paresis/ataxia and ventroflexion: see video. Don't think you should have gait abnormalities with dysautonomia. Was thinking about organophosphate too (because of ventroflexion - electrolytes normal). I have to ask the owner a bit more about it tomorrow. He's a completely indoors cat though. And I don't see why he should have urinary retention and ileus with this! He is managing to pass urine alone though and pupils are no longer dilated.

I am in Malta

Are organo-phosphates still in use where you are? It unfortunately does sound like dysautonomia but not conclusive
