&lt;p&gt;I have used frontline spray in wild European hedgehogs but I tend to spray it onto cotton wool and wipe over the hog quite sparingly. Not sure how well it penetrates through the spines though ! But they can be&amp;nbsp;sensitive&amp;nbsp;to the carrier in frontline I think, so if you spray it they need to be well ventilated, for a while afterwards as well, and not put back in a plastic tub or similar. So I prefer not to spray it at all.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;ve just had a look in the exotics pets manual and they also recommend frontline spray for fleas in the African hogs.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
