&lt;p&gt;Actually, come to think of it, they didn&amp;#39;t react much.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I mean, compared with an I/M injection of Terramycin, or S/C for that matter; even cows reacted to that.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I have to say cats getting depomed i/m don&amp;#39;t seem to notice it so I give it i/m. If it was uncomfortable I probably would have been giving it s/c by now!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I mainly use it for unpillable cats, and those awful eosinophilic nasties cats get in their various guises. and never had a problem with it.&lt;/p&gt;
