If it was a cat I would give it frontline spray and maybe some steroids. But obviously I can't do this in a rabbit.
Does Xenex have any efficacy against harvest mites?

Re: Harvest mites on a rabbit

[quote user="Michael Woodhouse"]

Question for Mark or anyone who knows - how about Cortavance in bunnies?

In dogs or cats I always give something immediately for relief (single shot of dex).

I suppose on unbroken skin it should be ok. However its not something ive used. I prefer to use HealX soother cream for things like urine scald as well as systemic NSAIDS/opioids (if required).

Hope this helps

Re: Harvest mites on a rabbit

I always weigh it up depending on degree of discomfort...
