&lt;p&gt;Most of the atopica i have used has been for anal furunculosis, as most of our atopics end up on immunotherapy.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My 2 biggest issues have been vomiting on medication - that&amp;#39;s one expensive chunder - and some dogs where the improvement was minimal or absent. &lt;p&gt;I have treated maybe 25-30 dogs with it, not had any problems, though a colleague had one where it caused gingival hyperplasia. One or two showed mild nausea/vomiting but settled soon.&lt;/p&gt;

We have been assured that statistically these are coincidence. I still treat the stuff with a degree of caution and do make sure owners are made aware that tumours may&amp;nbsp;develop&amp;nbsp;that otherwise might have been&amp;nbsp;suppressed.&lt;/p&gt;

Owner shouldn&amp;#39;t worry so much - sounds like they or someone close to them has taken it before, with some adverse effects?&lt;/p&gt;
