There was some improvement with antibiotics (convenia) but it didn&amp;#39;t resolve so we had her in for investigation.

&lt;p&gt;As an aside, I&amp;#39;m always surprised how few practices seem to have a small, round, angled mirror. It&amp;#39;s not expensive, you can get ones that fit onto your auroscope handle and therefore have a strong light at the end, and it&amp;#39;s endlessly useful for dentals as well as checking behind soft palates. I&amp;#39;ve found many blades of grass with mine....which I bought when I got bored with not having one available.&lt;/p&gt;
