So in your shoes I would continue with dietary modification and glipazide at your dose, monitor weight, thirst, demeanour etc and check the bloods again in 2 months time assuming everything stays the same. Of course if anything changes you may need to alter your plan but it sounds as though you are doing great for now. Goodluck</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
