&lt;p&gt;I suspect you know this already, but I wasn&amp;#39;t sure: KBr is said to be
associated with an increased risk of pancreatitis. Obviously, that does not
give you a diagnosis.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In my experience, after cessation of the pancreatitis (to be more exact, the
noxious stimulus is removed), the concentration of cPL falls by approximately half
in 24 hours.&lt;/p&gt;
