My friends Cocker also burps non stop. I looked into it a bit and Simethicone can help. He also bloats- visibly- becomes uncomfy- then lets out a massive burp (longer than I have heard in a male humanoid..and I went to boarding shcool..!)

Un responsive to all meds and dietary trials

I would base intervention on actual bloat so if his tummy distends with gas I'd be more worried and keener on a prophy pexy

Also feed wet + dry food cf dry only and 2 +meals/day may reduce the risk of GDV

Can always try simethicone?
