It should lie cranial to the cranial edge of the pubic bones. It&amp;#39;s not quite as&amp;nbsp; simple as that, because a lot of fat can influence the effective caudal extent of the peritoneal space, but it gives you a rough guide. But I agree - there are continent dogs with intrapelvic bladder necks, and incontinent ones where the bladder neck lies well within the abdomen. So this finding alone isn&amp;#39;t that helpful.&lt;/p&gt;
