 Several Vets Now clinics have noticed an increase in Ethylene Glycol poisoning and as a family ( my wife is also a vet) have seen cases too. The ornamental pond issue is a worry. There is an e-petition as there is a safer alternative.

I got a story in the local press about it but there is a risk that for everyone who learns to be careful about handling/storing the stuff there may be one cat hater who is alerted to using it maliciously. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The anti-freeze smells better apparently ,only sniffed the other at Staff Christmas parties, &amp;nbsp;after the table wines bitten the dust things can get desperate.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Just seen 2 this morning - 14 month old littermates - (had to euthanase both) does any know if there is any move to add a bitterant to anti freeze in the UK - I believe it&amp;#39;s legislation in the US since 2012 - cannot believe how slow we are on this..&lt;img src="/emoticons/v2/headbang2.gif" alt="Frustrated" /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
