It has a very swollen foot. As he deals with a lot of our wildlife cases he has a small supply of medication in reserve and has started the bird on Synulox.

Otherwise where diagnostics have been declined and there is no frank pus I use antirobe (15mg/kg bid), enrofloxacin (20mg/kg sid) and meloxicam (0.4mg/kg sid). I warn the owner that enro doesn't have a withdrawal period for eggs so they should never be used for human consumption.

Make sure the duck has access to water constantly as bumblefoot will develop rapidly if kept dry and bearing weight unevenly. If off water for any reason then dressing both feet will reduce risk of pressure sores.
