Thanks very much for the opinion, another orthopod has just agreed that the cat's neck is normal - just shows how rarely I x-ray cats necks! Cat will be getting started on steroids very soon...

Hi Gareth

I think it looks normal. All beautifully straight and symmetrical on the VD view. And the relationship between the dorsal spine of the axis and the atlas is pretty normal. So I wouldn't be worried.

They've not replied to my email, having a quiet day today so think I might email it round a few others.
