Or does everyone just use hibiscrub or iodine?

I come out in a red rash if I scrub too many times with povidone iodine, and currently use Hibiscrub. However, a few years ago I was using Manusept (triclosan/alcohol) - until it was withdrawn - because there was a research article in my wife's Nursing Times indicating that povidone-iodine only achieved a 50% kill when used as a scrub, but a triclosan/alcohol rinse killed 80%. It was quick and easy to apply requiring less than a minute to rinse and evaporate twice, and caused no skin reaction. If there is anything equivalent I'd be interested!
