Mainly looking for zoo species. Until now I've generally relied on the laboratories as a source but would like to learn more on the subject if I can

Re: Egg counts

[quote user="Gillian Mostyn"]

lol - but seriously - what he doesn't know about parasites isn't worth knowing. He was the Whipsnade Zoo vet for many years and then moved over into pathology, now working in that department at the ZSL.

Handily, he's also a really nice guy! I'd send an email off to him/his department if you want specific info - or even to find out what is the best literature out there in the subject..

Many thanks Gillian, I'll get in touch with them.

I've used Mark Stidworthy many times for information and I'm in regular contact with a few of the v v clever lot at IVZG. Just don't want to keep bothering them all the time and would rather have the relevant information myself if at all possible.

Thanks for the information.
