One of my colleagues just had a biopsy result of eosinophilic granuloma from a lesion next to a tonsil in a CKCS that was in for speying. The lab says that CKCS are known to have these perhaps with a genetic predispostion (as if CKCS needed

Re: Eosinophilic granuloma in CKCS

I think you might find it easier looking for eosinophilic ulcerative
stomatitis in CKCS but yes its a recognised condition in CKCS - like
EG's in cats some stay some disappear etc.

Idiopathic eosinophilic ulcerative stomatitis with
and without granuloma formation occurs in Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. It is
not known whether or not these are histologic variants of one disease or
separate diseases. Clinical presentation is similar - symptomatic or
asymptomatic ulceration of the palate and/or palatoglossal arches. The response
to corticosteroid varies from good to none at all. Spontaneous regression has
been reported.

The lesions on the palate were biopsied and came back as eosinophilic granuloma. My colleague did nothing and the lesions have gone now!
