Where I live I reckon I will get 12 months out of a collar. Fitted in April will last until December. Ticks sorted all summer. No ticks in Winter. Will chance the fleas. So far not a tick in sight and we are normally tick central. Make sure you take the little knobbles off the inside see the instructions. They can irritate the neck.</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
