&lt;p&gt;Cytology of the plaques you remove will help identify whether bacterial/fungal or even protozoal.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Vitamin A deficiency can play a role so improving the diet (gutloading/dusting) will help prevent recurrence. Also check for any retained shed inside the eyelids acting as a nidus for infection.&lt;/p&gt;

Start on abs ( marbocyl 10 mg /kg Sid injectable form given orally). May need sed and small stab incision + flush. Remove the sand and analgese if lancing. Meloxicam 0.3mg/kg Sid. check the mouth for any stomatitis
