At 8 weeks they can be in to everything.</p> <p>When you say &#39;awaiting urine sample&#39; do you mean you are waiting for the dog to pee or awaiting results? If you are thinking kidneys it&#39;s male so pass a catheter and do a dipstick and USG. </p> <p>Unless the owner wants absolutely everything done then I&#39;d just see what happened over the next few days with some antibiotic/NSAID cover.</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
