That photo jogged a memory. Many years ago I attended a dermatology lecture by Danny Scott (anyone who has heard Danny talk will understand why a surgeon was at a derm talk!)

The "thankyou" slide was a lot like that one except it featured a chihuahua (recently recovered from generalised demodecosis) standing similarly on a consulting table.

The next slide showed X rays of a really neat orthopaedic plate and screws repair of bilateral ulna-radius fractures - chihuahua had reacted badly to the camera flash and broken both legs as he leapt from the table!

That is Fibrous osteodystrophy which affects the long bones and bones of the skull( causing eventual dysphagia). Progressive and fatal, euthanasia is indicated if the pain cannot be controlled.

HypoC can cause punched out lesions, What is the supplementation like?

It may be other areas are affected but less severely, I would want to see the rads to give comment on this.

AHHHH, not at the branch, have rung, no one with digital camera!!! They've tried with phones but not been successful.

It does look like that but only affects the left femur.

Photographing x-ray on viewer with digital camera works well.

Just use a dig camera and take a photo of the xray for upload.

Does it look anything like this?

We don't have digital xray! Would have done if we did.

Wouldn't hypo Vit C or D cause effects on both sides?
