Very popular with clients as get everything done at one time, and we do it at a lower cost bundled with vaccination and microchipping. Some cat breeders are having kittens done before they go to new homes.

We have been neutering at 2nd vaccine for 18 months now and the client response has been strongly positive. They are so pleased to get all the 'stuff' done at the beginning. Also our RSPCA can rehome kittens knowing they won't need to chase them up in a few months. The kittens seem to cope better than older cats and are usually playing an hour after surgery. All good!

Then most of the females might be done before their first heat and subsequent pregnancy!

I do hope that vets aren't still saying six months minimum.!!
