Another way of looking at the number of veterinary surgeons who voted for you was 1.4% of the electorate, or 1 in 74 veterinary surgeons who have the right to vote.

Roger Meacock and Andrew Stephens are due my special thanks for providing advice, support and nomination in this the seventeenth year of standing in RCVS Council elections.

A big thank you to the one in fourteen—336 veterinarians—who voted for:

You are the conscience of the veterinary profession and you will most surely be honoured in years to come.

The elections are over until next year; however the work does not stop. Whenever you can and wherever you are please don’t be deterred; please help rescue the animals from the ravages of a junk pet-food diet. Help your colleagues to investigate the biological imperatives of a natural diet for modified wolves, desert cats and polecats.

Time spent attempting to influence a heartless, compromised vet establishment is probably a waste—although miracles can happen. Likely the media, politicians, law courts and courts of public opinion offer better prospects for communicating the good health, human economy and natural environment message.
