I have the facilities to be a TP but not enough of a workload (being single-handed ) to provide the 20 surgical cases per week. On the other hand, my junior nurse , an ANA has the opportunity to see or assist with all surgical cases, rather than being relegated to kennel cleaning in a distant part of a large building, and either I or my RVN can constantly observe, and therefore correct any substandard work on the part of a trainee</p>
