What she thought I was going to do about my career I have no idea... ( especially as I am one of those crazy &amp;quot;cat-friendly practitioners&amp;quot;)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The toxoplasma thing is interesting. I was taught in 1992 that &amp;quot;McDonald&amp;#39;s burgers&amp;quot; were the major source of Toxo infection. I am currently in my second pregnancy and both times have requested a Toxo titre to assess occupational risk : after 20 years in clinical practice I am still titre negative. Which probably reflects both my obsessive personal hygiene at work and my obsession with well done meat...&lt;/p&gt;
