Incidentally, it was due in the ring this week, and we advised her that in the light of recent events, the KC would be making a show of weeding out sick or disadvantaged dogs, and she might want to think about taking the dog. In the end, she didn&amp;#39;t - and witnessed mass rejections pre-show, and the kind of judgment calls described above.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Seems the KC is taking advice from a PR &amp;#39;specialist&amp;#39;. Whether it&amp;#39;s a sea-change or just soft-soaping remains to be seen.&lt;/p&gt;
