Sorry Tim I've just realised I've had an illiterate moment, and my posting was as clear as mud

I meant Good I'm glad RCVS are doing something to curb illegal acts by "nursing " staff (at long last ) I disapprove of anyone undertaking acts of veterinary surgery unless they are on the Register, or there is a derogation in the Act

Yes, Wynne, fair enough, I am sure that we all know of competent but uncertificated persons doing such work (possibly more prevalent in the past than now) but are you saying that you disapprove of them doing the work or criticising the present restrictions placed upon them?

Good "Nurses " undertaking tasks which they are not legally allowed to is something about which I have felt very strongly throughout my career
