Fair enough, Mark, I just couldn't think of any likely difference between the teeth brushing habits of internet-savvy vets vs non internet users. :)

On animal welfare grounds I don't think a free dental is any better than one that you pay for.

With all due respect, this poll suggests nothing of the sort. Using an n=98 sample is statistically meaningless. When we consider that vetsurgeon.org has 6000+ members, that's 1.63% of the vetsurgeon community, and if we consider that there are conservatively probably five times that many vets in practice, it's an inaccurate poll. A better one would be "a majority of internet-savvy vets that frequently use the internet don't brush their dog's teeth."
