Best of luck, Alex. I'm a bit of a library mouse, and history novels are my unbridled love. I've heard of Caesar, Cleopatra, Augustus and Livia, Tiberius, "little boots", Cla-cla-claudius, Nero and his lovely mum, Herodes, Trajan and Adrian of course, but no idea of this Carbo. I'm curious now...

Another veterinary surgeon who is an author of Roman Empire's books, has also published this year an new novel, "Eagles of Rome". Although "Hannibal, enemy of Rome" is probably the most famous of his works.
