It should apply to all the professions and anywhere else where good communication is essential. I have to say that most of the European vets that I have worked with usually do have a very good grasp of the English language. In fact, they are often better with English grammar than many native speakers.&lt;/p&gt;

But then I did grow up in Nottingham so I can understand their difficulties...&lt;/p&gt;
