Wynne, it absolutely wasn't meant to be in the least bit comic. It was designed to be thought-provoking and highlight the problem. I think it's brilliant.

PS to above. If the entry was in the category Cakes for Animals, then fair enough. If it was in the category Comic Relief, then it's simply not comic.

I don't think it's the least bit comic, but anything that draws attention to the dreadful effect of poaching has to be a good thing. Mixed feelings, as this is so tragic.
