Soon, at least where small animal work is concerned, we will have CVS doing all the daytime work, and Vets Now doing all OOH. The INDEPENDANT veterinary surgeon will become a thing of the past, and we will lose our status as a self-governing profession, because these monster conglomerates will be too powerful for RCVS to challenge.</p>
