I think if your in touch with your employees regularly out of work , going for an Indian or just having them round for dinner and a chat once or twice a month your natural radar would pick up on problems like this straight away.

Total agreement.As to how the practice didn't notice, I can only imagine it's an old-fashioned sort that still uses paper invoices.

To be fair the RCVS do manage to get the odd one right sometimes . Lets hope he is locked up somewhere minus his stamps !!!Lets also hope that assets gained as a result of are returned to the victims. Ijust hope the fact that he got away with so much for so long does not incite others to give it a whorl. You also have to say what kind of practice is it that had not sniffed out something odd was going down??.
