VetsER are recruiting! We are looking for an enthusiastic vet who wants to work in an independent emergency clinic based in Falkirk.

You will be an experienced vet who can work sole charge covering a small number of local practices overnight & weekend cases.

You will be supported by experienced RVNs and additional vets, RVNs, SVNs, and support staff as required.

This is a new position to increase our staffing levels to help with the demand so can be flexible on the hours and rota. Full and part time applicants should apply.

The role involves managing patients from our day-time user practices. You will receive transfers of unwell pets needing continued care overnight & at the weekends. You will also treat all emergency cases for the user practices while on shift - treating & stabilising them until they are fit to go home, or until they are transferred back to their user practice.

The Role
Due to expansion, we have two positions available within our Clinic for dedicated, passionate and committed individuals to join us on a permanent basis. A mimimun of 2-3 years experience is required to join our incredibly supportive team which consists of 10 vets, 12 RVNs, 1 SVN, 3 receptionists 3 kennels assistants & 2 admin staff.
As these are new positions, the hours/shift rotas are entirely flexible and are open for discussion. All of our current team members have a flexible working pattern to suit their home life.

CPD is fully funded with no set limit and actively encouraged with support from senior members of the team.

Skills and Experience
A minimum of 2-3 years experience working as a qualified Veterinary Surgeon in small animal practice is required, and candidates must be registered with the RCVS.

Vets ER supports veterinary practices within Central Scotland and we are looking to increase our staffing levels. Two additional veterinary surgeon positions are now available. Both full-time and part-time roles are available.

You will be happy to work both sole charge, alongside your nursing team, and together with additional vets, nurses and support staff during the busier periods.

The rota will allow for great down time and will give a good work life balance.

Your team will be lead by an experienced veterinary Clinical Director who will be your direct line manager.

Salary will be dependent on experience and will be in the range of £40-50k for a full time position.

CPD will be supported and encouraged.

RCVS fees will be paid.

A company pension is provided.

We need new team members to come and join our small team at Westport Veterinary Clinic. Due to an increase in workload we are increasing our staffing levels.

A full time vet is required - ideally someone with experience. Either a certificate holder or someone interested in studying towards a certificate. CPD encouraged and fully funded.

To support this new position a full time nurse is also essential. This position is suitable for both an experienced or new graduate nurse. CPD encouraged and fully supported.
