UK Nature depletion

There's an article (p148) in this week's Veterinary Record which states that the UK is among the most nature depleted countries in the world. Despite this, all the political parties even the Greens are advocating building even more houses.

Total insanity. I'm very very glad I'm unlikely to be around in another 30/40 years.............the overcrowding will be horrendous

I've just signed a Care 2 petition demanding the prosecution of a slaughterman at Tulip slaughterhouse for causing unnecessary suffering to a pig. The vaterinary surgeon is responsible for ensuring that welfare abuses are never ever allowed to happen. He/she should also be struck off.

I've just read that 6 cases of animal cruelty are reported daily in UK slaughterhouses.

I'm really worried about the animals at the show. The showground is an amphitheatre, which really traps the heat. Add on the fact that both cattle and sheep sheds are appallingly designed, it's a welfare disaster waiting to happen

I honestly don't know who I want to be the next Prime Minister.

Theresa May's record as Home Secretary is abysmal. She's presided over an era of unprecedented immigration to an already overcrowded country, and is nothing like as effective as Micheal Howard was at curbing crime. Plus she's a Remainer.

I like everything bar 1 about Andrea Leadson, but that 1 thing totally puts me off. She's brought a 3rd polution generating unit into the world. How can anyone who's that environmentally irresponsible be trusted to be responsible about anything else?
