A work life extraordinary starts here

If you’re looking for a rewarding career in a fast-paced but friendly environment then Vets Now is for you. We have revolutionised the way emergency veterinary care is provided. Since 2001, we have grown to become the UK’s leading provider of emergency and critical care, thanks in part to the dedication and clinical excellence of our clinicians.

Give yourself the AdvantEdge

Our people are at the heart of what we do and that’s why we take a pioneering approach to people development. We have cemented our commitment to continuous development by heavily investing in CPD, ECC certification and coaching to give our staff the springboard they need to take their career to the next level. We’ve also introduced AdvantEdge – a two-week emergency programme for experienced small animal and mixed practice Vet Surgeons looking to boost their ECC knowledge and skills.

Top up your emergency knowledge

AdvantEdge is delivered virtually over a two-week period by specialists in ECC, Internal Medicine and Surgery as well as experienced ECC clinicians. If conditions allow closer to the time we will look to implement a face to face model which will take place in Scotland. A surgery practical is included in the programme, alongside other practical sessions such as CPR and ultrasound. In total you’ll receive 75 hours of CPD via the programme. AdvantEdge contains supported shifts with a skilled ECC Vet, allowing you ample time to settle in. You can start in-clinic at any time, whilst securing a space on the programme, as you will receive a hands-on induction from our experienced teams. The syllabus contains both clinical and non-clinical lectures including:
