&lt;p&gt;This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the development and delivery of BSAVA&amp;rsquo;s education strategy.&amp;nbsp; Education is at the core of the Associations mission and this division already provides a full programme of quality education courses and accredited programmes.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Head of Education will work with the CEO, the Board and wider Leadership Team to develop and deliver integrated education strategies for the Association. &amp;nbsp;They will also support an experienced and motivated team to ensure delivery of our current programme of courses continues to meet the excellent standards that have been set.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This is a part time position of 24hrs a week.&lt;strong&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Skills and Experience&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt; We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of the veterinary profession and its education landscape alongside some experience of post graduate education within the sector. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A veterinary degree is essential as is experience of veterinary education, strategy development and business planning. &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;This individual will work alongside committees and volunteers and so an understanding of this environment would be beneficial. &amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The successful candidate will have excellent oral, written and digital communication skills demonstrating an ability to produce clear and compelling and well-evidenced reports.&amp;nbsp; They will have experience of budget management and excellent people skills, being able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders and successfully lead their team.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;The ideal candidate will hold a veterinary degree and will have&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;clinical experience of working as vet in small animal practice in the UK, with a good understanding of a wide range of clinical disciplines. They will have personal experience of studying for a postgraduate veterinary qualification and will hold a postgraduate clinical veterinary qualification (e.g. postgraduate certificate or diploma) and previous experience working within undergraduate or postgraduate veterinary education.
