&lt;p&gt;Office-based and reporting to the Marketing Lead (Pet Vet), the successful applicants will be responsible as part of the small animal team for determining the strategic direction of the product portfolio in the UK and Ireland, while being responsible for delivery of the marketing activity and budgetary control for a range of products.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The marketing activity will be directed at supporting a well-established and highly respected specialist sales team to achieve sales and profitability targets. The appointed candidates will be expected to build intimate and productive relationships with internal and external customers.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Educated to degree level or equivalent, candidates should have proven brand management&amp;nbsp; experience within the pharmaceutical or an allied industry. Knowledge of the small animal business environment is a prerequisite for this position, alongside knowledge of the legal&amp;nbsp; frameworks for the promotion of animal medicines (NOAH/VMD).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A clear demonstration of creativity and innovation is essential. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and a self motivated, flexible attitude are essential.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;As a veterinary surgeon experienced in small animal practice, you&amp;rsquo;ll be central to providing technical expertise to our customers by responding to enquiries from veterinary surgeons and nurses. By these means, you will deliver in-practice technical support; sharing product and disease area information. In addition, you will ensure that regulatory and pharmacovigilance compliance standards are achieved and maintained.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A minimum of 3-5 years&amp;rsquo; experience in small animal veterinary practice is expected. You&amp;rsquo;ll be a skilled, confident communicator who enjoys building relationships within a diverse team, and who is motivated by sharing your expert knowledge with others. This role offers the flexibility of working within the UK headquarters in Bracknell or from home, for which self-motivation would be a prerequisite. Prior experience of working within the pharmaceutical industry is not essential, as full training and support will be available.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This role is a 12 month contract position and would be paid based on a daily rate, which will be discussed in more detail with the successful candidate.&lt;/p&gt;
