&lt;p&gt;&lt;i&gt;Hosted by the American College of Veterinary Nephrology and Urology (ACVNU) in partnership with NC State University College of Veterinary Medicine, this first-of-its-kind symposium is dedicated entirely to the diagnosis and management of lower urinary tract disorders in companion animals.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;i&gt;The 2026 program features:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;3.5 days of cutting-edge CE, including lectures, case discussions, and hands-on labs.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;Small-group laboratories covering cystoscopy, urethral procedures, fluoroscopy-guided interventions, and more.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;Networking events and receptions connecting veterinary nephrologists, urologists, internists, and criticalists from around the world.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;A scientific poster session showcasing the latest research in lower urinary tract disease.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

The project will be 4 years and involve participation in our geriatric cat clinic as well as laboratory work and data analysis. All training required for the research will be provided.
